Fiona Elisabeth Rose Canfield is Nuts (Not the Eatable Kind)
While in Saint Paul Minnesota our family visited Como Park Zoo & Conservatory.
Fiona loved riding the shuttle bus from the parking area to the zoo. The shuttle was painted outside like a giraffe.
The lions weren’t that scary!
Her favorite part was the children’s room with activities.
Fiona loves butterflies! She really enjoyed playing in the center.
We learned about how butterflies eat. There were turtles and we saw one real close up.
The only thing Fiona really didn’t like was the bugs – spiders, scorpions and the like!
Last Saturday we visited the Leanin’ Tree Museum. They had all these cool sculptures outside. A couple they even let you play on. The signs said it was okay. It was lots of fun!
Last Friday Fiona went to Dinosaur Ridge and Timberline Park. This was a great field trip for Science and a great outdoor activity for P.E. She enjoyed digging for fossils though none were ever found. She made a new friend at the park.

Yesterday we went back to visit Mrs. Parker’s Kindergarten class. Fiona will have to add her own comments later. She had fun playing with the kids and handing out the journals our family made for them.
The class is going to the aquarium today and we’ve created a page just for them to add comments about their trip.

This past Saturday we visited the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix Arizona. And we got to see the seasonal butterfly exhibit.
Today Fiona painted works of art in her art studio. 🙂
Fiona got to be the flower girl for her big sister’s wedding yesterday. Fiona walked down the aisle with one of the groom’s little cousins, Wyatt. 
Fiona’s grandma Susan (Fiona’s mommmy’s mom) was walked down the aisle by Ryan.
It was a very special day and we all had a lot of fun.
